The Year of Belonging

The Year of Belonging

2020-08-1823:59

In this episode, Mary Rose and Ryan Verret introduce and explain in more depth the theme of the "Year of Belonging". What does it mean to "belong"? Why is this theme important for your marriage? Belonging is vital for our sense of identity and building a community that fosters authentic growth. Catholic tradition tells us we humans were made to live in community, we are social beings by nature created to receive and give love. To have a sense of belonging is intrinsic to our human nature, and it is exactly what we mean when we say human beings were made in the "image and likeness of God". We were created for this type of communion with both God and our neighbor. Come and explore this rich theme of "belonging" in the second episode of Witness to Love.
